WATCH: Large crowds flock St Julian’s to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is now well embedded in our Maltese calendars.

St Patrick’s Day is a global celebration of Irish culture on or around March 17. It particularly remembers St Patrick, one of Ireland’s patron saints, who ministered Christianity in Ireland during the fifth century.

St. Patrick’s Day is now well embedded in our Maltese calendars and celebrated across the island. Many have been waiting for the day to wear something with green and celebrate this Irish holiday with a glass of beer.

Like previous years St Julian’s and Bugibba have been a popular go-to-spot with overwhelmingly revellers celebrating the feast.

Two years ago there was a mess left hours after the event.
