UPDATED: Minister for justice Carmelo Abela has met with Joven Grech about the discrimination the local music scene is currently facing.

Minister Carmelo Abela, who is responsible for The Malta Police Force has just visited my studio this afternoon to discuss further the agenda about discriminative permits for local Djs in Malta.

Very happy that finally DJs and musicians in Malta are finally being heard.

He has pointed out that these old permits clearly need revision amongst other important things. I will be meeting other influential people and politicians during the next week from both political parties to talk about and spread the ‘knowhow’ of the problem. Very happy that finally DJs and musicians in Malta are finally being heard.

Please do avoid political comments down below as this is not a political matter but a major problem for the DJ industry in Malta that needs to be solved… Come up with solutions instead. 🙂
